Predator, Scan tool?

hey guys, quick question about the predataor.....



so the deal is my friends SUV broke down tonight. its a 1998 merc mountainer with the 4.6 sohc. we had to leave it at the gas station till the morning.


i thought that maybe i could sue my predator to see why his CEL is on.

can i do this with my predator? i heard that my predator is "married" to my car?

would i have to return my stang to stock in order to scan his?

will my predator even read his ECC?



the problem with his car is.........


that it died and it wont stay started. its sputering and just happened all of a sudden. any idea's?


i was thinking that it could be................ clogged fuel filter or injectors, problem with his ECC, dirty MAF, dirty air filter, uhhhh or maybe a bad TPS ?

any ideas or thoughts? thanks guys

you can use the predator on any OBD-II controled car, no need to remove tunes or anything. Just go to the scan toolbar

you can use your scan tool to scan any OBD-II ford vehical. No need to take off your tune.

yes it is OBD2, every domestic vehicle from 1996 on is OBD2, some 1996 imports werent OBD2.
