Price for 87-90gt?

How much should i expect to pay for a 5 spd gt mustang, with about 120,000 miles on it? Decent body, minor rust, and a good interior? I only have about $1500 to spend right now. Any suggestions? Thanks.

In Pa, you could easily get $2500 for a decent running Fox! Just keep saving till you find THE ONE that you want!

I paid 4 grand for my fox. Mine is a 93 tho and the paint was brand new and interior perfect. Just save up for the one that you want and dont just go buy one you wont be happy with cause of the price.

Depending on the condition I paid $5000. for my 90 gt in mint conditon bone stock. I paid $2500. for my 87 needing a new motor and a bunch more.

Personally, I would wait a while longer and save up some more $$. $3000-4000 can buy a very nice Fox. Alot of the cars I have seen in the $1500 range are pretty ragged on, I think you would be doing yourself a favor and probably save money in the long run by waiting a little while longer. When it comes to cars (especially older ones like our Foxes and earlier) try to wait and buy the best one you can afford. I saved for 4 years and it took me almost a year and a half of searching to find mine. But in the end, it was worth every penny and every minute. Good Luck to you! Keep an eye on Ebay as well, maybe something will come up for sale in your area that you can go drive before you bid.

I found mine for 6000... Talked them down to 5400. Never hurts to try negotiation! Mine had 87k and interinor was practically new. Exterior has 3 or 4 door dings and the paint was fading in some spots.

My 87 ragtop 117,000 miles which needs paint has a new leather interior and has a sound motor with bolt ons and fully modded suspension for street use is worth about $4000.
