so I contacted a local dyno shop to ask about their dyno tuning services. I was told that I either would have to buy a DiabloSport Chip or a DiabloSport Predator and then they tune the car with it on the dyno. They quoted me $200 for the dyno tune. So I have to pay $399 for the DSP and $200 for them to use it on the dyno and tune my car? Is that right? I've never been on a dyno before or been around people who tune cars so I figured I'd ask. I plan to put a Accufab 75mm TB and plenum before I go also. What kinda gains should I expect from the tune with that plus my setup in my sig?

I am going Saturday, but I'm using a SCT X-Calibrator 2. Mine is $400 for the X-cal, plus $75 for the tune, plus $75 an hour. He said it usually takes 1-2 hours.

yeah, I would've perferred SCT but I haven't found a local shop who uses it I guess the Diablo is cool since it can pull codes if needed. I just thought they had a tuner they would use and I wouldn't have to buy one, but I guess they only work on one car?

Some dyno places use there own software to flash your computer. But others use the tuner as a mean to flash your computer. Like predator and SCT. And SCT X-cal2 has a datalogger and it can pull codes.

And the price is still about the same around $500 to use just the software.
