Priorty code 10?

Ordered my new GT vert last week and got the copy of the confirmation order. On it it says priority code 10. What does that mean? Also dealer says my car is number 21 on thier order list to be completed and that they are completing about 4 per week. That means about a month or so before mine is to be built. Will they be still making the 05s or will they be gearing up for the 06 by then? Would it be worth it to wait for the 06. It seems like everyone is having little bugs on the 05 that ford hasnt fixed and maybe the 06 will have them fixed. (besides Tungsten silver is a great color) My other car that I bought new (99 Mitsu Eclipse GSX) has not had one problem besides a clutch being replaced at 110000 miles so I was wondering if the late model 05s had thier bugs worked out. Apreciate all the replies.

Priority code 10 is the highest you can get. That's a good thing. As to whether or not it will be an '05, couldn't tell you. I have seen comments that dealers aren't taking anymore orders for '05's, but that could be wrong.

As far as the bugs go, I think most of them have been worked out, at least from what I have read here. That doesn't mean something else couldn't crop up that nobody has experienced before.

Good luck with your order, a month is a much shorter time period to wait than most of us.

Priority Code 10 is grrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaat. Mine was a 10 and it arrived on time - ordered 12/03, arrived 01/21/05.

Priority 10 is a good thing, dealer allocation is another. It appears that your dealer is moving enough of the 05's so it is likely you will get it as an 05.

I was a priority code 10 and ordered on 1/7/05. She was born on 3/5/05
and I took delivery on 3/24/05. As far as bugs, I have 1,600 miles on her
now and not one problem.
