Does it help your 1/4 mile time much to get this product? I have read that people have picked up 3 tenths just by using the PIH. Can anyone qualify these claims? The PIH kit looks like a good deal compared to the TwEECer since there is no need to mess with it. Any insight people?

I run the PIH in my GT. The first thing I can tell you is that the PIH is not a real fix, it's more of a band aid, but it does work. Before I installed the PIH I was running 14.1 at 98. With just the change over to the A9L computer, I went 13.9 at 100. With all the mods I've done since, the PIH is still in the car and it still idles and drives perfectly. At this point, I'm looking at a good EEC tuner so I can take control of air/fuel, timing, rev limits and the like. The PIH works well to a point, that point being just about where I'm at now. Depending on what your plans are, the PIH could be a great addition. If you plan on getting serious, spend the money on a good EEC tuner.
