I've decided to pick up a set of Pro3i's LCA's...

Anyone know if there's a noticable difference between the street and street/race LCA's?

I would go street race. spherical bearing is supposed to locate the axel better and produce less bind.

I have MM spherical drag arms. It was a very noticable difference.

Let us know if you have issues installing the sway bar. That seems to be the common concern with them but I think those were on 96-98s.

Reviving this old thread. Just ordered a set of the Pro3i upper and lower control arms based on all the reviews I've read from a search. I'll post up once I install them as far as any issues or nonissues.

i installed mine and had no problems. the sphereical end bearings are great and make it a real ease. the sway bar bolts up perfectly. the pro3 lca's street/ race version are identical to MM's. ive seen them both in person and i decided to save 60 bux and got with pro3. good quality, no fitment issues. hope that clears it up!

I'm in that stage of $$ burning a hole in my pocket and tossed as to what do I want to do next? more power (or at least prep for more) or suspension...hmmmmm

They may look identical, but there is most likely a difference in parts used.

They are still a good buy though and hard to beat for the price, but not "identical."

Hard to say. At the same time the Pro3i LCAs went on, I got Eibach front and rear drag springs with airbag, Strange 10 way shocks/struts, Pro3i UCAs, front and rear 5 lug conversion with rear discs, new 8.8 with 31 splines, and new Weld Prostars 15x4/15x8.

I will say that after putting some miles on the suspension, the Pro3i do occasionally make some creaking noises, but that is about it so far.

I like Pro3 and all I got was this crappy CT.

I was told that with spherical bearing, it gets really noisy

Never noticed noise from my MM's, any sperical bearing that is bad will get noisy though
