Problems with the mail

Have any of you guys ever had problems with things being lost in the mail. I ordered a set of center cap decals from fordpower.net/store and they told me that they were sent out last tuesday by priority mail. I have yet to get them. It should not take over a week to get something priority mailed from Texas to Ohio. They seem like a good palce the guy answers all my emails when i send them so that leads me to beleive that they are lost in the mail.

I work for a company that ships 100s of orders out everyday. There have been times that an order has got lost. I have also seen some Prioty Mail take up to 2 weeks. Id say just hang in there a few more days, then call the company and say you hav't seen them yet. They should ship you out another set and then they would make a claim with the post office.

Thanks for the input. I will wait it out a couple more days then contact them again. The damn things only cost $20 so the money isn't that big of a deal I just want to see them. I actually ordered them 3 weeks ago but they didn't ship for like 9 or 10 days because the guy was gone for a week. That is why they upgraded the shipping to priority.

If they sent it Priority mail, most all businesses have delivery confirmation on them. Ask them if they have a delivery confirmation tracking number. This will show a scan of departure point and arrival at your local post office, and if it was misshipped to the wrong post office, it should have a scan as "misshipped". Sometimes wrong barcodes are put on mail pieces. Once that happens, it goes to what zip code the mail piece has stamped on it. Then when it reaches that wrong destination zip code, that office will re-route it to the right office. I see it everyday when I sort the mail.

Thanks I will have to ask them about a confirmation number. I am sure it is just a small envelop

i sent a box to my dad almost 2 weeks ago, he still hasn't got it. It's not even that far - Baton Rouge, LA to Birmingham, AL. Good thing I got it insured. I even sent it to his business since there's always someone there.
