Procar/Scat Elite seats.

I want to put some full aftermarket seats with a headrest in my 65 coupe. I kind of like the Black Vinyl Elite Series by Procar from the pics i've seen on their web page. But, I've never actually seem them installed in an early mustang. Does anyone have any experience with these seats or any opinions on how they look after installed? Does their Black Vinyl match well with the stock black vinyl backseat in a 65? Thanks.

My old 66 has them now and I sat in them and found one problem, they are to high, in other words you sit too high in the car. Seat platforms need to come out. I saw someone had done this somewhere.......not sure where.

I saw a nice car at the track the other night that had taken out the seat platforms and they sit perfect.

I'll post some pics when I get my car back Saturday. I have the Scat seats, not the modern looking ones, but the ones with the vertical pleating.

i've got them in my 66. I dont think they sit too high on the seat risers. I like the position...but then again i'm tall.

Another questions.... Are the Elite seats the same height as the striped Rally seats?? And with these seats would i still be able to use my stock console? or are the seats too wide?? Thanks guys.

brtnstrns - i love the paint on your car i'm thinkin about doing my in a similiar style. do you have any more/bigger pics? Thanks

Very nice. Those seats look good in there too. I just ordered that same street apron last week it should be here soon. After i get mine back from the engine shop i need to take care of some rust then its off to paint. Is your car sitting at stock height?

the rally's are really comfortable and i feel stable in them cause of the side restraints. and yes my car is stock height. same ol springs just new shocks

As promised, photos of my Scat seats in a 69 Mach 1. They do sight a tad to high for my 6'-0" but I can deal with it.
