I'm looking at replacing the stock on my '05 GT damper with a Professional Parts 80040. Does anyone know if my crank pulley for my Procharger P1-SC will fit? Thanks.
No it will not. The supplied crank pulley will only fit a stock dampner. The only other crank pulley avaialable is made by Procharger for a ATI Super Dampner.
I know that the Professional damper is new, performance shop here was told it was still in QC when they tried to order it. Have you had experience with this damper? Tech rep at Professional Parts seemed rather sure it would work and I was planning on calling Procharger in the morning. Thank you for the advice.

We've used the ATI's with the Prochargers, it will require a different crank pulley either way. The stock style procharger pulley uses dowels in the factory holes and the crank bolt. The ATI's and probably the Professional damper will be threaded which will require the 12 rib procharger crank pulley. You just will not use the other ribs. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I've been hearing about the phaser limiters having problems with Comp cams when using heavier springs. Different tuners are telling me the added friction causes the VCT to malfunction on some engines and they suggest locking out the phasers all together. What I'm looking for is the old school sound like the thumpers have, but in a F/I version.
