Hello everyone. I just did a swap from my FRPP 65mm TB to a 75mm PP throttle body. The throttle is harder to push now. Is there any way to adjust it to make it easier to push? Thanks in advance guys!

I've seen some say a tb for a fox does not have the cam like our tb's do. IIRC, I think I've seen it said the opening rate for the fox is a direct kind of thing and the cam on our tb allows for a gradual and more smoother rate of blade opening.

Is it possible that has something to do with the difference you have noticed?
or
Is what I have heard not true

That is true as far as I have noticed Grady. I am assuming cam means the spring mechanism inside the TB..The FRPP 65mm has an easier push and more gradual and precise yes. The PP seems harder to push like my Z28 LT1. It feels like I have a little more pull but the real test will be when I take it to the DYNO in Nov when I have it n/a dyno'd and rigged for my nitrous dyno as well. I will be having 2..actually 3 settings programmed.

#1 for n/a with new 90mm lightening MAF, 75mm TB and bigger inlet pipe (that you and the others helped me figure out how to make) :SNSign: , and track heat intake. I dyno'd at 271rwhp 308 rwtq b4 these mods.

#2 for emissions station

#3 Setting for 125HP shot of nitrous! ;)

I hope your dyno session goes as expected ... Heck ... even better than expected :)

Good Luck :nice:

its not rubbing on the valve cover is it????

No it is not. Although I thught I had a clearance problem only to find out the holes inthe new TB were not perfect. :nono: I had to file them out more to make it "slide" into the bolts on my TFS intake elbow. Also after inspecting the professional products TB I found some metal shavings in it that were kinda hanging off ready to fly into the motor. I had to file or pull those little pieces off by hand.
