I wouldn't rag on the kid, most kids his age (in my town) are busy with their scooter gangs "tearing up the streets" in their noisy annoying slow Harley Pedalsons.

Keep up the work, Ryan! Good luck

That spring is bad. Mine looked about like that and when I did my spring swap mine broke around the 2nd or 3rd coil.

yeah...i know...i planed on replacing them with some lowering srpings...just got to find a set that will drop it about 1.5" in the rear and 1" in the front...

c-springs do the trick?

Im sure opinions will differ, but i have rode in a car with c springs, and it felt like my teeth were going to fall out... was just a hard ride.

Be sure to take a lot of pics. It's a great feeling building a car practically from the ground up. Good luck.

ryan i give you a ton of credit for taking on this project and really taking action. none of this "i plan to do this this and this" but not actually doing it. you said you were gonna paint up that rear and damnit the next day you were working on it. i wish i could have that kind of determiniation, mine has been on jackstands for 3 months waiting for a damn 5-speed install. keep us posted, and dont overlook the details. clean up/replace/fix things while you have access to them, and it will all go so much smoother. good luck.

yeah man i was the same way in my 91 LX. black on black and no A/C. one day the car had sat outside for about an hour while my buddy and i were in the mall, it was 90 degrees that day and my buddy dropped a stink bomb out his arse not even a minute after getting in the car. the smell punched me in the face and i couldnt see for a few seconds. i refuse to go without A/C anymore.

Yeah they're 4-lug saleen replicas. They'll have to do until the day I get a five lug conversion and get actual ones. Can't beat them for the price though.
