Project Blue Balls - 18" rim - what tires?

Guess I came in too late :D.

I run Falken FK452s on my car. Hooked to a 1.91 60' at the track and never had an issue when I got caught in rain. Cheap as well, comparable to Nitto.

I run 255/35/18 and 285/35/18. The fronts rub, the backs dont.

1990Coupe when your getting ready to fit the tire let me know. If you push the front fenders out a tiny bit you could avoid the rubbing. There should be an easy way to do this.

I didn't go with that make - but i went with those sizes.. if they are crummy tires thats alright for the time being..

I'll let you know when i come to that road! I want to have the 5 lug done and working, and the engine in before paint so i can work out any body massaging i need to do to avoid rubbing issues.

Tires ordered??? YES!!! Get those puppies mounted on those FR's and you will be drooling over them, even if they are just sitting in your garage or basement for a while. That's great Coupe! Now you have most of the big money stuff outta the way. My last purchase was the wheels, and that sucked getting the credit card bill, but hey, it's allll worth it!

*Sits and waits for another Project Blue Balls Thread to pop up*
