well i got a fair amount of work done this weekend but not much picture worthy stuff, just torquing **** and re attaching grounds in the car, installed the zerk fitting on the torque arm, removed the upper control arms, mounted the strut tower brace, installed the firewall adjuster and clutch quadrant and man did that improve the clutch feel alot, turns out my pump is ****ed so i bought a reman unit and plan on having that installed this weekend along with having the floor pans welded up and seat bracket welded so i can somewhat safely drive the car this weekend, anywho pic time

alright i now officially have power steering, my pump went bad because i removed the wrong portion of the pump that i shouldnt have and it cause the pump to fail, installed the new one in just over an hour, bled it in about 4 min and the effort of steering is gone, tomorrow my machinist is gonna weld up my floor pans so i can get the wiring done and have the carpet installed this weekend for the first seated drive in teh car without a milk crate, vids will be posted then

build looks good! just a heads up for ya tho. if you do the florida50 cluster and you run a 3g alt. you better ask them about the hook up! we did the flordia cluster and the 3g on my buddies turbo notch and fought the electrical problem for about 2 days!has something to do with the stock cluster having a battery light and the florda one dosent,so in returns the charging system dosent charge right and you will never have 100% full power and the battery will die. his did driving down the road so in returns the msd wouldnt work so the car wouldnt run by the way do you do some form of fighting? or do you run your chops alot and get beat up? cause since you started this you messed your cheek up your shoulder and you nuckles.peace

the messed up knuckles were training, you fill a fire pit with hot coal sand and rice and punch into it for as long as you can, my shoulder has been injured since i 12 and raced jet ski's, i was underneath the car and trying to hold up the h pipe and it slipped off the jacked, i tried to save it and it got ripped out, not to mention the countless other times its happened, and my cheekbone was a shin kick to the face by my buddy, he and i are both martial arts instructors, and when we go at it we fight harder than we ever would in a bar or on the street, makes sure i know that i can hold up if i need to, but i dont fight in the streets, actualy i havnt got in a fight in the streets since i started at this current studio

dont do door pannels until you get metal door handles, new lock actuators and window motors in there. saves from taking it all back apart.

alright its been so ****in hot here lately that i cant get out there to work on it without risking serious medical conditions so i figured i would start on fabbing the interior for the car by doing the headliner and door panels and carpet, so yesterday i took a trip down to a local warehouse for fabric and picked up padded vinyl for the door panels, grey and black, headliner material in black, and carpet in black, so since my dash is black/grey and the seats are black grey, and the interior plastics are grey, im going with a 2-tone interior, so this weekend im busting out the sewing machine and sewing up some vinyl for my custom door panels, thats right real men can sew bitches

more pics later cause me camera died

You should have left about 1-2" of material in the center sunroof hole. When you put the headliner up, the loose material needs to fold over the lip of the sunroof and then the weatherstripping holds it down.

Unless you plan on doing it another way

thats odd, the seal on this one was different had a rubber seal that pressed onto the sunroof then pressed onto the top of the car, i figured that the replacements were the same so thats why i did it like this, but the edge might remain un-covered since the paint isnt ****ed up or anything, i'll figure something out, all i need to do now is start painting the dark grey trim pieces medium grey to match he other plastics and get some door panels from the junkyard to reference and attach the new fabric to

Factory sunroof??

Mine isn't like that. I have felt around the sunroof glass, but the actual roof of my car has a rubber seal that presses against the glass when i close the roof.

Here's how mine attaches. The loose material goes up and over the metal lip of the roof and the rubber seal holds it in place.

No comments about the liner i chose!

haha, its like an orgy room, but yeah its a factory sunroof but may be an aftermarket seal, but when i bought the fabric they gave me enough to do it 3 times over so i may just pull it all off and redo it if it comes to that

It's really not that vivid in person. The flash just makes it stand out more. In person, it's a black felt with subtle charcoal stripes. When i take pics, it looks like a friggin Zebra died in my car!

yeah i know they had the same pattern when i went to get my fabric and kinda chuckled to myself when i saw it, anywho if all else fails i'll just go to home depo and get some weather stripping stripping and put it around the edge of the board then get some for the body shouldnt be an issue since the cover for the sunroof latch will hold everything in place
