its one of the best body mods that i have done to my mustang. i only had one problem, once everything is done you need to make sure your window are adjusted perfectly and tight to the rubber or you'll hear some wind coming in. you can also forget about driving in the rain with the window cracked for air:D

im not to worried about getting it straight right now. all i am trying to do is get it welded up. then when it comes time to do all the body work then i will weld it so it is straight ans smooth.

on average, how much would a shop charge for this "procedure" ??? one side is perfect, the other has some holes through it....i like the shaved look but hear its too hard to do yourself unless ur really skilled.....so any general estimates??? thanks

Nice work, I'd like to see the finished product too. I have a vert so the drip-rail mod is done at the factory :D

I also have given up the idea of driving in the rain, but that was after months of rust remidiation. Decided right then and there that my car would not see a rainy day, lawn sprinklers are the most moisture my roads will see. Anything more than a 15% chance of showers and the 2005 gets the duty.

im not worried about rain getting in the car. this will be a daily driver. if it rains i will make sure the window is closed tight. i have already done a water test and no water gets in the car with the windows closed. i was using a 2500 psi power washer and blasting it rigth at the top of the window. not a drop of water in the car.

i hope to have an update this weekend. i have made alittle progress. i had a problem with my welder so i had to wait for parts to come in to fix it. then i got a bad case of welders flash. and that put me out for about 1 week and wating for the parts is killing me.
