tbadair said:no i am not going to take it apart once it is out. it is goign right into another car as soons as i yank it so it will be on the cherry picker for the time it take to roll one car out and another car in. you say hook to the heads, do you mean to the bolts where the headers go to ? or do you mean another spot. I still have those stock rings which I guess are for yanking out the motor but i dont know if they are strong enough for the tranny as well and do I need to get grade 8 bolts or are the stock header bolts ok??

When you go to put it in, save your self some time and bolt the transmission cross member up and when the tranny gets close to that area, just put a jack under the tranny and jack it to the height you need.ALMOST STOCK said:Really Since I pulled my motor and Trans together with a chain and I'm getting ready to reinstall my motor with the trans attached Sat.with a chain I'm just curious what makes it easier and safer with a EFI plate? Any help is appreciated.
