pulled engine down.... what are these pistons?

ok i got this engine with a 93 gt we just got. was an extra. tore it down tonight and the pistons have a ford emblem on the under side with trw stamped on them with the casting number e7ze-ca above the trw. i know these are factory pistons but can someone tell me if they are forged or hyper? any help would be great. thanks

I would venture to say the w/ E7ZE number that they are forged, Hyper pistons would have an F3 part number

87-92 trw forged.My 89 has the original motor and when I tore it down it had ford headgaskets and factory bearings.4 pistons were marked trw and 4 pistons were a ford e7 part number on top.very strange.

ok good, what is the most nitrous yall have seen run on these pistons? i have heard about this guy who ran a 250 shot on a stock 88 gt engine, and i know the car ran fine till the next owner put a s/c on it.

im kinda shocked at the condition of this engine it doesnt seen to be rebuilt due to the ford bearings.

Its my first ford and when I rebuilt mine the crank/rods/piston clearance were spot on.I had an ever so slight ridge but took it down,honed and installed new rings,bearings,gaskets.For over a 100K it came out nice.

I think 150 is fine,250 maybe to much for me.

im thinkin about maybe runnin 200 this is a super street class drag project. it will rarely ever see the street that is what my 88gt is for.
