Underdrive pulleys went on today :D. Cant say I feel much below 3000rpm since the gears makes it rev so quickly, but once it passes 4000 I can feel some nice sotp gains. No dyno done today since the shop was swamped :(. Maybe Sat if things clear out for them some :D. Im hoping for 250+ at the wheels since my last dyno :nice: Think its feasible?
Im hoping the L/T's and mid pipe I put on around late March should put me 275 or so, then the TB and Plenum swap, and finally a good tune should put me at the magic 300rwhp mark :flag:

Probable ? IMO no.

Possible ?

What pullies did you get ? I don't remember noticing anything other than my dash lights were more dim, and my belt spun faster.

yeah guys w/ head work, and cams are running like 317 RWHP
see this sig I copied, and pasted from a pm I got -

Here are my power mods:

Power Mods:
P&P heads with Modmax valves/springs
Comp Cams
P&P Bullitt intake
Pro-M 80mm MAF
Morpheus HP pipe
Hooker long tubes
Hooker X pipe
Dynomax Bullet mufflers dumped
Steeda pullies
Fordchip tune

Not saying it's not possible. Just saying may not be that easy. :nice:

300rwhp n/a isn't that difficult. As long as you piece it together right, I could see it being possible to have around 320-330rwhp with the right mix of mods. Without a stroker. Mind you though, if you ever wanted a blower or something of that sort, you'll have to keep that in mind if you ever get new pistons. (ie: compression)

Yeah it's not difficut at all but w/ more than the usual bolt on's. You mentioned pistons - Little more to all that.
Hell just add some VT engine wild N/A cams while you're at it.

They are Steeda Underdrive Pulleys, I had ASP's on my 5.0 and wasnt to impressed with them. I didnt notice a thing about dimmer lights or anything last night
As for the 300hp mark, I think its feasible :D. Besides, everyone needs a goal with their car, and everyone saying I cant do it makes me more motivated :nice:

nice choice on the pulleys (brand wise) the mac pulleys are crap. They came apart on me and I've got an engine tick as a result :notnice:

I put the steeda set on along with the timing adjuster just cause i was already going to be down there so what the hell. BIG gains from that. Throw a T/A on there and you'll be good to go.

I made that statement with the assumption that they would have pretty much everything. Cams, head work, etc. Although, I don't think higher compression is needed to attain 320-330. I could be wrong, though. But, I just mentioned it, just incase. :) I still think it's possible without a stroker.

how much w/o a/f monitoring ? Probably not necessary, unless you plan to have them tune it anyway which is much more $.

I'll donate my BBK's U/D pullies for someone to get dynos of before and after w/ them for everyone. If anyones interested. I have to put my stockers back on for an upcomming blower.

Maybe 03TrueblueGT will do it ! He's not far from me, and is always good for dyno results !

I think my shop charges like $120 for 3 pulls with a/f included. I would love to dyno every mod I do, but its just not feasible price wise for me :bang: .
I might get it done Sat though, just to get a basline before my L/T's and midpipe go on. It wont be a fair dyno though since I never had it dyno'd after my chip got put in either, and I got a program burned to massively bump timing. Took me 3 burns to get all the sparkknocking out lol.
I did notice that everything seems quieter than it previously did. Unless I really open up the throttle, I dont hear all the extra engine noise I used to from the accessories... a BIG plus :D.
