Pulling Motor....

I've never pulled the motor with a 5 SPeed...almost automatic cars...

Unbolt the Torque Converter, Bell housing and shes out...

But now with a 5 Speed what has to be done witht he clutch...Can u just unbolt the Bellhousing and pull it forward to get the clutch outta the bellhousing then out?

Help me out please

Disconnect your clutch cable, remove shifter from inside car, unbolt bellhousing from engine, drop transmission out. Clutch and pressure plate can stay bolted to the flywheel if you so choose, it won't hurt a thing.

so you do have to drop the Tranny? i was hoping to leave it bolted up and just put a jack under the tranny

yeah you have to drop it out cuz you need to realign the clutch when you reinstall the tranny back in, its not to bad less time to take the hole tranny out than removing all the bolts in an auto trans.

That's for sure.. I've done both the auto and the t5 removal install, the t5 is definitely 100x easier and faster.

Are you pulling the motor out? If you are, it may be easier to pull it all out together. At least I find it much easier....
