I'm running into a few snags pulling the motor in my 1998 Cobra..

How do you handle disconnecting the A/C? Is it quick disconnect like the fuel lines?

I was told there were ground straps bolted to the head(s)- I didn't see any.

The Power Steering line is on WAYYYY tight.. any pointers?

Anything on the back of the Motor (by the firewall) to look out for??

What are the best points to bolt the chain to??

i took mine out the bottom. alot faster to drop the whole k member. good time to put long tube headers and a k member. just disconnect lines at compressor.

i yaned my 99 cobra motor out from the top, i left ps hose's hooked up just unbolt it from the block and lay it to the side, the a/c leave it charged up just unbolt the 3 bolts form the compressor to the block.no gnds at back of motor just some sensor wires that need unplugging. i know it a mother ducker.as far as what holes to use to pull motor ill post a pic for you hang one

I have had engines out of my cobra four times. First time I dropped the k-member with trans, the next three times I went out through the top after taking the trans off. I am by far quicker taking the engine out through the top. When it comes to the hood I take off the drivers wiper arm and have someone hold up the hood while I jack the engine out of there, the hood will go straight 90deg so it won't get in the way.
