Talk us through exactly what your doing. The Crank bolt is out, yes? How about the washer under the bolt? Usually the washer gets stuck in there because it has some gasket material on it.

Yup, give us more info. I'm not sure were u are but if you already have the crank bolt out and washer make SURE you are using the flat metal piece that came with the harmonic puller to push on th block were the crank bolt was or u with damage the threads in the block.

I just got done having the same problem. I didn't take out the washer that was under the bolt so I was actually pushing on that which is on top of a lip of the crank pulley and it kept popping the screws out. Did this for about an hour cause I didn't realize that there was a washer under the bolt until it jarred loose. Man what a relief. Anyways, I guarantee that is what you are doing.

I did that too when doing my pulleys, for about 25 minutes. Then I too realized what I was doing & removed the washer. Good thing the new kit came w/ a new crank pulley, not that I damaged the old 1 but I was close.
