Heres my plans, Its a stock 302 on a 90 lx. Im going to put AFR 185 heads, Custom cam, and have GT-50 lower. Then add the Kenne bell, run 9psi, have good head gaskets, and std. Mods...full exhaust,maf,42lbs inj, gears and good tune. Would that that be pushing the limit of the block with the TQ, and flywheel hp. If it is pushing the limits, would it be worth the swap and extra cash to get a 351w block(forged pistons, hyd roller for $800) and then AFR 185's,custom cam,gt-40 lower, Kenne bell(9psi),full exhaust, ans supporting mods, and good tune. will the 351w block handle HCI Kenne bell 9psi? Im will to loose 1-2psi to keep it temps down and power down to keep the block together.

Can you run a KB with a GT40 lower?

I think that the limit of the stock block is about 600 crank hp or roughly 500 at the wheels.

that stuff you listed would probably put you in the 450 rwhp range with a good tune. you could use a stock block, if you get a good tune i wouldnt be afraid of it. get it running like a top and it should be fine.

there isnt a magical number where your stock block will break. just once you get UP THERE its runs a much greater chance of doing than milder combos. someone with a heavy foot would probably bust it before a smarted driver who takes care of it.

Well to run the blowzill/flowzill with bypass valve, you have to run a gt-40. the kit wont work with aftermarket lower intake.
http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/blowzilla-flowzilla/blowzilla-flowzilla.htm

With the 302 w/ AFR 185, comp cams,77mm maf,75mm tb,42lbs inj, it made 508 hp @9.2psi 484ft lbs TQ all at 4000rpm, thats what I want....

I have seen a Performer 'modified' to work with a KB...but I think you can use a stock intake or I know the Gt-40 as stated...

KB blowers put on full boost from 2,000 rpm and up and in my opinion they are rougher on a block than a centrifugal supercharger which builds up...

If you are looking at this idea as dependable and a daily driver of sorts, I would be weary of that combination...but it would be loads of fun
