pushrod and 1.6 ped mount questions

ok, I just bought a set of 1.6 roller ped. mount rockers froma friend. I was wondering if i need a longer pushrod than stock and if I do how long. I looked in summit back in the mustang section and ford morsports has one for roller rockers. also I was wondering about the valve lash. I know you are susposed to stick a feeler gauge between the roller and the valve but I know what the thickness should be., sorry if this is something I could have searched and found but i looked for a while and couldn't find anything for ped mount. thanks guys!

well first of all, they are 1.7 i believe i messed up and told you 1.6 the other day, and yes longer pushrods were needed for my car, and i have stock heads, just like this guy.He bought them from me.

You don't need to use a feeler gauge to set roller rockers to set 0 lash. Just allow the lifters to bleed off and spin rods while turning the set screw until you feel some drag on the rods - 0 lash.

Peace

You won't have any clearence issues with the little bit of lift increase. I ran a .580 lift cam with stock pistons and afr's with no issues. As for the pushrod length, get a adj push rod length checker. I know from experience it is hit or miss when guessing lengths. You will also need a shim kit.
