I just got my chin spoiler (for my 96) and Bullitt pedals.. I got the spoiler on fine but the pedals are a huge pain:

is there any secret to the brake/clutch pedals?
how do i do the gas pedal? there's a pin in there but it doesn't seem to want to come out

(the chin spoiler looks bad ass on my black 96, by the way)

Well, the pedals are all a pain in the ass. Ive heard that you can heat the clutch and brake up with a blow dryer and they slip right on. The gas pedal is somewhat easier. You undo the throttle cable from it at the top, unbolt the two bolts, and take the whole assembly out. Dont try it any other way. Then to get the pin out, you need a punch to punch it out. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PUTTING THE PIN BACK IN. I learned the hard way and broke a piece off of my 17 dollar gas pedal. My suggestion is go to lowes or something of the sort and get a bolt and a locking nut. This will make it much easier to just put back on. It isnt the easy install that everyone says it is but if you are patient (unlike I was) it should be fine. Hairspray helps on the clutch and brake pedals. I dont like the method of using your foot to push and twist, this just tore one of the little rubber things a little bit on mine. LOL If it gets too bad, go inside for a couple hours and cool off. Then go back and tackle it. Shouldnt be too bad. Good luck,
Matt
P.S. They look great once they are done!
