Putting stock h-pipe back on...

I have to put the stocker back on this weekend so I can go get my inspections/emissions done(just visual). When I took off the old pipe, I broke a few studs i believe, which didn't bother me much since I was installing full exhaust anyway. There seemed to be studs at all connections if I remember correctly, but I know there were up at the header connection.

I am just wondering why there are studs in the h-pipe though, considering the bbk headers had the stud get screwed into the header. So, can I just take out these studs and install it on my headers? Or are the holes through that connection threaded?

the header side of the stock H-pipe is not threaded, you can use the BBK studs, if the threads dont work, you can drill the headers and use nuts.

Thanks, that what I thought. I wonder why the studs got stuck in the stock h-pipe then??? I think one or two of them broke as well. Oh well, guess I will just have to check it out this weekend.
