Putting the AC back in...

Hey all, I removed the AC in my Cobra right after I got it for a few reasons. I haven't really drove it in the summer until this summer, and it's killing me. I feel like I'm going to pass out anytime I have to stop for a light or traffic or anything.

My question is though, what will I have to replace in order for the system to work properly again? Seems like just the receiver/drier would need to be replaced because of the desiccant inside of it. Anything else though? The system has been off the car and stored in plastic bins for almost 2 years now.

I had my system out twice replacing the motor, and you should just need to reinstall and have the system purged and add oil/refrigerant.

replace the orifice/filter while it's out too.

It'll probably need a complete flush, unless the lines were plugged to the evaporator, or did you take it out?

Nah I left the evaporator in, but I couldn't find anything to plug up the ports (though admittedly, I didn't look hard).
