Like the title says, i pulled out my PCV valve today and the little ball was being sucked to the top...it was definately full vac., I have it hooked to the big front port on the edelbrock 600, is this right?? thanks

The large brass nipple in the front-center of all Edelbrock carburetors is for the PCV valve hose only, yes.
i bought a new pcv valve a while back and turns out the new spring is too stiff, causing me to have a vacuumn leak basically all the time but especially at idle, i installed my old one and the little plunger sucked to the top just like it should, all is well Thanks
