I'm close to getting the Pypes off road x pipe for my car with Flowmasters already on it. Should I go for it? or go with some other one? Any suggestions guys?

I have it on my mach 1. Its a pretty descent xpipe for the price, no complaints with it. I dont know about the flowmasters with it though, I hadthe same setup and it was to machine gun sounding IMO.

Also you might want to look into a Dr. Gas Xpipe as well. I heard those are pretty descent also and about the same price as the pypes :nice:

Pypes, UPR, Dr. Gas, all of them are good.

They will sound nasty with your Flow's. Alot of people do not like x pipe and Flow's because the "tin can" sound but it sounds alot better in person than the internet. The only 2 X pipes I wouldnt run with Flow's are BBK and Bassani as they are designed a little different and dont sound as good to me.

Yeah I heard Dr. Gas is good but the only problem for me is it's a welded x pipe and for me that is not an option since I live in Cali. I think they are coming out with a bolt-on one but hasn't yet released the auto version. I can't wait for it :) So I'm going with Pypes.

I'm going with Pypes, they are cheap, fit good and sound good, and oh uh cheap:D

The X on my 5.0 pushed the driver's side tailpipe out about 3/4"-1" farther than the passenger side. Not sure if they SN95 X's are the same, just an FYI. Great sound with Flows though:nice:

i have the pypes off road x ceramic coated got it for 125 bucks at wfc 8. I paired it with slp lm2 cat back, and many say my car is one of the loudest of not the loudest in st louis... not to mention just with those mods alone i dynoed at 252 hp/290 tq

That sucks. Thanks for the info, but so far everybody that I talked to said the Pypes fit good in the 99-04 years.

yea man i have bbk lts with an o/r x and flow that are dumped. It does have a bit of a rasp to it but i think that makes it sound crazy. I have slp lms that are awaiting install and im gonna keep those dumped also. Should sound good.

Dang I wish I can put LT's on my car but I live in CA, emissions suck here:bang: You have any video clips of your exhaust?

No chambers. Chambers are for P****S :rlaugh: Just kidding! I got the whole kit of Ebay motors brand new for $399. This is my 5th stang so i wanted to try something different than the usual bassani, flowmaster, magnaflow, slp thing.

And for the price i couldnt go wrong!

:rlaugh: I actually bought my mustang with the flows already in it, but I wanted dynomax mufflers but didn't want to spend the extra $ for them due to low funds:nonono:
