Q About Gears.

I have 4:10 in my 5.0 stick. I am taking it out and putting 3:55 in it. It's too tall for the city for sure. I mean i beat everything light to light. but on freeway it's not very ideal. Putting the same 4:10 in my 4.6 auto. Makes more sense. I am still trying to figure out how to race both my cars at the same time....

BUT if you are racing your car at the track all the time...then go for 4:10 with slicks and skinnies. it's fun
 
But would 4.10 in a aode affect mpg and the rpm at 75mph?

my gas mileage hasnt changed THAT much... but enough to be somewhat noticable... not too bad tho...

i absolutely love my 410s on the stock motor/aode... gives me a nice little head jerk, but i think once i complete my HCI swap in a few weeks, ill be seeing some noticable "in seat" reactions
