Quadrant & Firewall adjuster (Need HELP~!!)

After installing all the components, I realized the cable is so loose that it doesn't have any tenstion on the cable. I'm using the same stock cable and can't get it to any tention no matter how much I adjust the firewall adjuster. I need help.......

Does the quadrant have multiple hooks? I just installed a Steeda quadrant and adjuster and I can make it really tight or really loose. There are 2 hooks on the quadrant.

I have the steeda one as well.....I've tried both hooks and still very loose...it doesn't have any tension at all.

Maybe call Steeda... I have it on the hook closest to the firewall and I don't have the adjuster twisted out very far. I can't imagine having it on the farther hook, it would be really really right...

Did you disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch fork when you did the install? I didn't, maybe it wasn't reconnected right?
