im thinking way down the road here, but are the 351 cube motors 4 or 2 bolt mains? which one is stronger in terms of holding the most power, the clevland or the windsor? ive heard they are the same motor other than the better heads and intake on the clevland. how much of a weight difference is it between a 306/302 and a 351? is it noticable in handling and whatnot?

2-bolt. I dont know which is stronger between a clevland as they are not the same motor. Parts do not swap over. Back in the day, people liked the clevland more but now with all the parts for windsors...they are hard to beat.

I think a 351 with aluminum heads is similar to a iron headed 302. Although i dont know exact figures, the 351 will add more nose weight when compared to a comparable 302.

you can get a 4 bolt 351w but most are 2 bolt. They are much heavier but i have not noticed any really handling lose because of my 351w. The windsor is a much better engine then the clevelend atleast in this day and age.

the cleveland and the windsor are NOWHERE near the same motor...the 302 is pretty much identical to the windsor with the exception of the deck height and intake

I don't remember the numbers either, but an Al headed 351w is the same weight as a stock headed 302.
I didn't notice any handling difference, but I don't push it to the limit on a daily basis. Mine is my daily driver.

I have not seen any 4 bolt 351w motors, other than aftermarket. What applications had 4 bolts?

The swap parts needed to put a Cleveland in a Fox body are tougher to find too. Not as many options available, but it certainly can be done.
