i have done searches for 4.10s, 3.73s and for gears... read them all and learned alot... im leaning towards 4.10s... found all info i needed except some shifting questions i have.. im curious under normal acceleration and hard acceleration what speed is first gear if you shift at 3000, and what speed at 5000 rpm... same for second gear... if i knew this i could finally decide on gears... i have an 02gt so it has the 3650 trans.. from my readings this transmission is about 100-150 rpm less on highway with 4.10s and with the other transmission... can anyone help please.

From memory - first gear tops out (redlines) at around 22 mph with 4.10s vs. about 27 mph with 3.27s. So you're going around 14 mph at 3000 rpm.

Use the calculators and you'll get more exact answers. Don't worry about 4.10s - just get 'em!
