Question about calipers !

Hello everybody!

First of all, i'm sorry for my bad english, i'm from Italy!

i have a little question about calipers. I own a 09 GT with BOSS 338 20" .
We have a totally different kind of road here ( bumps, lights, rounds every 100 mt) so i burnt in only 3000 km my original brake discs. I changed everything with a brake kit of an Italian company and now it's ok! The problem is that i have to change my wheels. I need 20" wheels because of the new and improved brake system. I was interested in the americanmuscle TSW nurburgring 20" 8.5 Gunmetal TSW Nurburgring Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 20x8.5 (05-12 GT, V6) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! ( i have 4 255/35/20) but i don't know if they will fit with my new giant calipers. Actually my boss 338 fits well, but i cannot try other wheels because of the shipping costs.

How large are my calipers compared with the original brembo of new mustangs? ( i read on many web sites in the description of wheels "fits with brembo brakes or won't fits with brembo brakes"). Do you think the tsw nurburgring will fit with these calipers? in alternative, which wheels will fits whithout problem?

According to the spec sheet you posted your new brake calipers have 10 pistons?? How large is the front rotor? The Brembo rotor is 14" or 360mm.

My rotors are 360 too and calipers have 10 pistons.The rotors are not a problem, they will fit every 20" wheel, there is a lot of space available. But the calipers now are 0.5 cm from the edge of the boss wheel.

i think ( just seeing pictures over the internet) my calipers are longer but thinner than the brembo. So, in theory, won't there be any problem with every wheel that is good for the brembo. But a set of wheels costs 1000 € imported here in Italy, so i thought was better ask to you.

The length of the caliper won't matter as long as it doesn't stick out off of the hub more than a brembo. The determining factor of whether or not a wheel fits a brake is what the offset on the wheel is compared with the offset that is required to clear the caliper.
Most brake manufacturers can provide a minimum offset required to clear their brakes. I did not see that on the information you posted regarding your brakes. Contact the company you got the brakes from and ask them the minimum offset required for a wheel to clear their calipers.

The TSWs you posted clear brembos and have an offset of +40mm.
