i wante to get LT's like ..... now and i wanted to know if i could buy LT and have a muffler shop install them and weld them to my MAC cated H pipe. also what kind of gains in performance and sound would i expect to see

Yes you can. You won't get much if you are near stock. The stock manifolds are actually pretty decent and flow fairly well. Sound will be a bit better though.
Good plan then. With a power adder (and/or h/c/i setup) the stock manifolds will be a restriction. I'm going to try to get headers/h pipe at the same time I put my h/c/i in.
