I just heard a soundclip of dynomax ultra flows with offroad pipes and man they sound soooo much louder, thing is i want to be able to pass inspection. But i got to thinking, if i bought a prochamber and just put the old catted midpipe back on when i need to pass inspection i could pass inspection when i needed to. My question is, i know you need to get a mil illiminator to get the check engine light to go off, will this cause any problems? Will having an offroad pipe cause my car to run rich or cause it to have any air fuel problems? Will putting the old catted pipes back on after installing and driving around with an offroad pipe for a year cause problems? Thanks! Also whats the difference betwen the mac prochamber and a regular offroad h pipe?

The Pro-chamber want effect the fuel or anything of that matter.......You can put your cats back on and it will be fine......The Pro chamber combines exhaust pulses for a beter sound and for a slight performance gain and the h-pipe goes straight back to the mufflers from the manifolds....

GT 5spd is right. The Chamber won't affect the way the car runs as far as the fuel or anything. The only reason you need the MIL is for the rear O2 sensors, and all they do is read the air and compare the reading to the readings from the front O2 sensors.

The front O2's are hat the puter reads for the engine. The rear O2's just tell the ECU whether the cats are working properly or not. They don't have any bearing on the tuning.

My cobra passed emissions with an O/R prochamber and a FR500 catback....don't ask me how because standing behind the car when it's running will damn near make your eyes water
