Question about tires for Mustang

Hi. I just bought a used 06 Mustang (V6) and want to put Michelin HydroEdge tires on it, but Costco online (where I bought many sets before for other cars) doesn't show the Mustang size in that tire. I found that odd.

• Has anyone here put that tire on a Mustang?
• What is the best rain tire for this car (in Memphis, TN)?
• Is there another size I can use on my Mustang besides 215 R65 16?
• How do I know if my car is "deluxe", "premium", or "standard"?

Thanks,
Eljay

I have never even heard of anyone using those tires. they may not make them in your size. and btw a great tire that I use is the goodyear eagle GT. had them on my v6 and they were great on my roadtrip and sticking to the pavement. once my g-force tires on my GT now go bald im getting the eagle GTs

1.& 2. Odds are low that many on here have used that tire on their mustang as site is geared less towards driving in the rain. michelin site says they don't have that tire for your car. They offered these other options -http://www.michelinman.com/tire-selector/vehicle/2006/Ford/Mustang/V6%2BCoupe%2B%2526%2BConvertible/tires
3.Plus or minus sizes of 10mm are usually acceptable for safety.
4.For choosing a tire the standard, deluxe, and premium names aren't needed as long as you see the truly important is achieved. That would be the right size tire. I hate that sites ask for that as they usually have the wrong moniker for what really fits what.

As I look for other criteria in a tire I can't recommend one for you from experience. Based on what you have posted here I would suggest looking at BFGoodrich - Premier® Touring
Item #: 786102 or Michelin - X® Radial
Item #: 145028 if using costco online is preferential to you. The closest size i saw for a Michelin HydroEdge was to far off in size for your wheel.
