hello guys
I have a question about the Torq Thrust II rims

I am thinking about changing my rims on my car to them
17x9.5 for the front
17x11 for the back (tires: NT555R 315/35/17's)

http://www.wheelsforless.com/searchr...words=50571167

but I have a concern

Most of the pictures on the internet who have size 11 rims and the width for their tires is 315.. they take off their exhusts
and I have a borla kit...

would this cause trouble for me.. like a conflict between the borla kit and the rims I'm planning to get..

attached are two pictures for my car with the borla kit ..

ur guys cars look great! question on the tt2s up front ? whats the backspacing cuz i have 18x10s for the rear but i still need to get the fronts, and i want my car to be lowered alot! ( sorry for whoring the thread)

I have no idea what backspacing mine are. I picked them up second hand from a local guy who traded in his mustang and sold the rims separate. I do know they are 17x9.5 in front and 17x11 in rear.

One thing to note about the TTII's rims (the actual ARE TTII's and not the "bullitt" ones) is they are one of the few 17in rims that will not clear a front cobra brake setup without the use of a spacer or machine work to the rim.

The TTII's spoke has a greater arch on the backside of the spoke were the bullitt ones are flatter. This arch will cause interference with the cobra caliper due to the larger 13in rotor placing the caliper "higher" or further out in the rim face.

Blacksn955.o is correct about cobra brakes. Also, backspace on these rims is more suited for 1st gen mustangs on the front. They tend to extend out past the fender just a hair, at least on mine.
