Why do some companies offer the headers to be bent the same way on both sides (drivers and passengers), but other companies offer them bent differently. My tri y aren't bent the same way and the passengers side still rubs. I'm still experiencing my problem from this thread: http://www.mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/012021.html

Here is an example of both headers being identical: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Must...26999368QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V#ebayphotohost ing

And an example of them being different (where I got mine from) http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sell/SSProfiles/60000230/Images/3/exhd10.jpg

I'm stil trying to fix the problem from my previous thread. Some guys are saying I should change over to 66 mounts and that might give me enough clearance and other guys are saying the headers are crap and I should just get new ones. Please help me out guys. Thanks!

Dont get new ones! I bought the exact same headers from CJ Pony and am having the same exact problem. But I have a 66. I have enough clearance on the drivers side but my passenger side still rubs the shock tower. I think one of the aprons was replaced sometime in the life of the car though. I have stock motor mounts, 66 style. Here is the thread I started when I had my problem, http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=631665

When I also tried installing a monte-carlo bar it wouldnt fit between the shock towers even with the front end of the car sitting on jacks for 3 days to spread apart the shock towers.

The ones that are different are correct. The driver's side tubes are routed differently due to the firng order. 7 & 8 fire in sequence, hence the tube routing #5 & 7 together, and 6 & 8 paired off. Works with either firing order too. 5 & 6 fire in sequence with the 351 order.
