I have a 70 mustang that i am switchig from a 302 to 351w, and using the same mounts (i think they used to both use the same mounts anyways, not sure). I was wondering if any of you are running any single manifold intake with the stock hood (no hood scoups). Looking to choose between, torker II, victor jr, or super victor. I have to use a single manifold cause i am runningn a TT blow through set up (my 302 couldn't take much power). If you can tell me what intake you can fit, with what height air cleaner, it would be really help full....:nice:

The Torker for the Windsor is stock height.
If you are using a power adder, the mild nature of the intake will not hurt things.
The other intakes are significantly taller.

BTW:
289/302/351c/351w all use same mounts, trannys, pulleys, and most other accessories can convert or be converted easily.

Thanks that is good to know, i know that the vict jr is 1.5 inches taller than the torker, and the super victor is 2 inches taller. I guess what i am trying to ask is, how much more room does a 70 mustang with 351 have between the carb and bottom of hood.

Furthermore, I know that the intake wouldn't hurt things on power adder applications, however, it does cause more fuel "puddeling" that the other two don't have problems with when you add boost to the mix.....
