Question for Flowmaster A/T owners

I just put on my catback from flowmaster about a week ago. I love the sound of it and everything. The only problem I have is that I can't get the tail pipes to align properly. The tips on the passenger side stick out about a half inch to an inch more than the drivers side. When i pulled the drivers side out it hits the gas tank and even there I can't tighten down the exhaust with the clamps. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, how did you fix it?
