Question in regards to B303 Cam and setup...

I have a question for you all, hopefully you can help me out. I am looking at a 93 notch this weekend, and the guy stated it had a B303 cam in it. Now, he didnt say anything else like heads, or intake, or anything like that. But he also mentioned it had 24lb injectors in it.

First off, what does this all mean to you?

Secondly, this guy just bought the car for his wife he states but she doesnt like it. Wont know if this is BS or not until I see it and drive it, but wanted to see what you all thought in regards to the set up. Why would he have 24 lb injectors on it and just a cam? Is this bad? Is this a wrong setup? Should it have anything else to accompany this set up?

See, he doesnt seem like he knows much about cars, especially when I ask him to tell me about the car and he says, "well, the A/C works really well, it has power door locks and mirrors---"

Uhm, no, what does it have done, modifications man!

he probably only knows what whoever sold him the car knew about it which doesnt sound like a whole lot

Who ever putthe B303 in it may have added the 24# injectors as a precautino against runnigh out of fuel. Don't hurt anything as long as the MAF is calibrated for them. Otherwise it'll run rich.

He probably doesn't really know what he has.

By the way, TJ, I noticed your convert runs nice in the 1/4 mile, have anything good done to it? Thats a good time for a convert!

You never know what a car has until you see it for yourself. Do you know how to ID a GT40 head? Every now and then you get lucky. I am pretty familiar with Mustangs and have bought cars, happily, and found them to have even more stuff after I've brought them home.

Had Weld Wheels (15x4 w165's & 15x8 w/275/50's) when it ran that time.

Stock Intake
Stock Throttle Body
Stock Heads
Stock Shortblock (besides cam)

And thanks for the compliment on my time. I did run an honest 100 mph trap speed once, but the time was a touch slower.
