I put in a 331 using the stock heads but they were ported from the guy before. The set up is aimed more towards a blower (ex. dished piston) so that is part of my problem. I know the heads have to go to . The question is do you think with my current set up the basic edelbrock intake should be upgraded to the next level? The car seems like its starving for air besides the heads do you think upgrading the intake will help alot.? Also would you have ideas on the intake that would work good for me eventually I will be getting new heads and a supercharger. THANKS

Glad to see your putting aftermkt heads on that bottom end.

I've got to recommend TFS intakes.

What heads are you considering?

The "regular" edelbrock intake will flow enough for those stock heads (even ported) so I say the heads are killing you more so than the intake. Both need to be swapped out for maximum power either way.

Thanks I figured it was the heads more then intake. Well it will probably have to wait till next year. I'm not sure what heads yet? Any suggestions? The only reason I didn't do the heads right away was $. Plus I figured since they were already ported that the would be better then this but I was wrong.
