I'm trying to find a driver's door for my 87 GT convertible. My door can't be saved. I found someone selling a complete vert door, and claiming it to be rust free. Asking price $225. I live in the Northeast. Think I can do better on price? What would you expect to pay for a door that's in good condition? Thanks for your input

few ways to look at it. 1 they dont make them any more. 2 I work at a body shop and used doors I have seen some go for $1200 so to me that is cheap. 3 for a rust free door with no dents that only fits Conv. and T-top cars thats not a bad price I dont think. 4 if you want a horse and there is only one man in town with one he can name his price. Really though look around some more they are getting harder and harder to find nice around here all the yards scraped due to the price of metal being so high. dont ship if you can help it they will beat it most of the time seen it to many times and it would cost you even more for shipping. IMO
