I just picked up a 93 lx with h/c/i and some other bolt ons. One mod the car has is a tremec 3550 trans. When I rev the car to 4500 and up to 6000 the shifter want to rattle straight out of my hands. This is the first time Ive had a mustang with vibration in relation to engine rpm. And this is my 3rd one.
Could it be a bad clutch. Would the bellhousing need to be indexed or re indexed if the person didn't do it. I thought it could be the driveshaft but vibration would get worse based on total speed and not rpm.
Anyone experience this problem. Let me know.
Dan.
