Well I stopped by the Ford service department today to try to get them to reflash my ECU for free... No dice on that they wanted $80 for it but I did get a copy of my OASIS report at no cost.

I have some questions though.

In the WARNING MESSAGES section of the report is says:
CUDL - THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLOSED CUDL CONTACT
What does CUDL mean?

Under the WARRANTY CLAIM section it appears that a part was installed part# '3R3Z 130B59A' what is this part?

Ive said it before and Ill say it agin Dimension sucks I like the mechanics that work there but the place sucks. They could have and should have reflashed it for you for free since you bought the car from them like a month ago.

Not sure on the questions though.

In this context I do not think CUDL stands for credit union direct lending...

Also, I discovered that the part number if for the gas pedal issue. Cobras have a problem with the carpet interfering with the motion of the gas pedal, its a very serious safety issue...

customer data link.you probably had a prior complaint about the car or facility.it was fixed so it was closed.i got the info from another web site so its only hearsay at this point.

If you read about it, it's a lending contract type thing. Meaning, a previous customer used CUDL to buy it, and when they sold it, the contract closed. Since it's an online thing that probably shows up on a carfax report too, it probably has to be in there.

It stands for Customer Data Link and is indicative of a previous owner contacting Ford directly to lodge a complaint. I am investigating this further to determine what the complaint was about.

I think if I call Ford on Monday they will tell me what it is about. I got a copy of my extended Oasis report, its very interesting... Some drama with my car for sure...

The carpet thing is a huge deal. A friend of mine took his car out one day and he runs his car on this road that no one ever travels on. Well he does WOT through second and third and lets off, this is at prolly 120+mph and it keeps reving and bouncing off the rev limiter and couldnt slow down. Quickley he put it in neutral and shut it off and coasted to stop. He gets out and sees the gas peadel "lever" was caught on the carpet. This could have blown up his car or hurt or even killed him.
