Okay, in the next month or two I will be buying and installing some full-length sub connectors on my vert.

Do I need to lift up my carpet before I weld them in? I'm wondering if the welds are only 1 inch each spaced by one inch, what are the odds of me scorching the carpet?

I don't really want to lift the carpet if I don't have to. I've had a hard time in the past with getting carpet to lay down correctly after I've been screwing around with it.

Any help would be appreciated.

No.
The carpet will be fine.
I've got MM Full-Length SFC's and no problem with install.

Yeah i'm getting ready to install mine and the directions say nothing about lifting up the carpet.
