Quick A/C compressor and PAG oil .....

Hey guys i need some quick help My old a/c compressor locked up and i got a new one and i need to know how much of Pag oil to put in the new one
Some one told me to dump the oil from the old one to see how much it comes out and then put the same amount back ....but my old one is dried up ,nothing is in it

You'll have to ask the dealer, or go to alldata or something like that. Keep in mind, if you are in doubt, put more in. Over oiling will not hurt the system, it only cuts down on the cooling capacity.
