Quick Cluster Question

Quick question guys/girls.

Say My Insterment Cluster Was Misplaced and I bought another one From My

Year or close to it. if I plug everything in to the new Cluster will it Automaticly be

right with my car like the gas gaudge for Example. or is there some ajustment

needed to get it insync with my car?

What year is your car and what year is the cluster you are putting in.

The only difference I know of is on 89-93 models that were equiped with airbags, there might be a fit issue since the bottom side of the cluster unit is different then the 87-88 models. As far as the electronics, I am pretty sure that it should be a straight swap, but I am not 100% sure,

For instance I have a tach and a speedo from an 89 stang on my 87 and it works just fine, but in that case all I did was replace the actual tach unit and the speedo within the cluster itself.

Its a 1990 Pretty much what im asking is if i plug in a new cluster will it read everyting correlty like the gas and temp or will I need to ajust it some how? same year same cluster.

You can put a 1990-1993 cluster.

Plug it in and everything will work

Adjusting the miles to read correctly will require disassembly though...unless you have a drill and a lot of free time
