Quick couple of Questions.......

Hey folks,

Just a couple general questions for ya.......88 GT 5.0

There is a rubber seal thing that attaches to the dash piece that surrounds the cluster down near the steering column. it looks like it as held on by several plastic nubs but of course it doesn't stay in place anymore.

What have or would you use to secure it in place? i'm thinking some gorilla glue or some sort of epoxy???

Also..... On my car, where all the wires are that run down under the car near the Rack from one side to the other, there is a flat metal bracket that is just hanging there from those wires. I'm sure it's supposed to be mounted somewhere to hold those wires out of the way but I cant see an obvious place it would be mounted.

Does anyone know where it is supposed to be?

The wire with the bracket hanging off it, is the wire going to the starter? If I remember correctly that bracket bolts right by the timing cover on the pass side somewhere

Yep, that's the one.....I suppose I could just remove it and zip tie everything up out of the way but if I can get it where it belongs I'd like too......

It bolts up with the ground cable for the battery on the timing chain cover.

Also on that rubber peice on the steering columm I used 3M weather strip adheasive to secure mine back to those nubs.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll look around under there to see if theres a spot that makes sense. I like the weatherstrip adhesive too....
