I dropped mine in by rotating it 90 degrees (from it's installed position and sliding it past the battery tray and water pump. Once I had the fan motor lower than the water pump, I rotated it back to "normal" and then lifted it up and installed it

This is what it looked like all installed (I left about 1/2" of shroud)

Well, I'm definately going to give it a try anyway. My current setup is pretty terrible. The fans seems pretty strong but I think its a combination of their size, ie small, and the lack of a well-engineered shroud. I was honestly contemplating dropping back down to a 2-core to see if I could gain some space.

I had to shift my rad and fan slightly on mine. The Mark VIII is a kick butt fan. I have had my Bird is several parades in the middle of Summer, gone on cruises in stop and go traffic, sat in stalled traffic in 90+ temps, and have never seen the water temp above 185f .

Thants what im talking anout! hahahahaa You can only spread the word, if they choose to follow is another story! That fan shouldve came stock in our cars... i alwasy say that was the best mod hands donw i ever did to my car, Just the fact-you dont have to monitor the gauge and then sweat when your in traffic in the summer in 105 degree weather-Is a TREMENDOUS feeling.
