i find it funny how certain ppl shy away from any 4.6 cars thinkin that they are nothing compared to a 5.0.thats how you can pick out someone that knows NOTHING about the 4.6.once you know about it,its not a bad motor at all,non pi ones,well thats a diff story.

People still think the mustang has a 5.0.


All the time i get from non Mustang people " Hey, is that a 5.0?"

"Nope..4.6L"

"Aw..."




I don't get it, the 4.6 makes more HP and (peak) torque than the 5.0 did, revs smoother and i've spanked plenty of stock 5.0's with it.


I'm looking for a 4V also to put into my Fox Sorry...i got addicted to them after driving one. I just love the smoothness of it.

thats cause its a pi. try a plain jane 4.6 2v, we had one in our old 94 grand marquis, granted big heavy car but it was still a pig even for that.

Aaron and 5L5. I stumbled upon them on Ebay. Guy was asking 100 bucks plus 15 shipping. I offered him 60 plus 15 shipping, he same back at 105 shipped, and I agreed. He was like 5 or 10 dollars cheaper than 50 resto, so I figured I'd give him the business and save myself about 10-15 bucks. Excellent quality, and people loved them today at the cruise.
